Cyclocross and mountain bikes for this wave. There are sections you will have to dismount and run. Road bikes are not recommended\, MTB shoes and pedals are! \nHeck Of THE North\nReturning for it’s 10th year\, we have an incredible\, alternative route called the HECK. This ride is for EVERYONE. This is a road event for roadies on road bikes. The HECK is for anyone who wishes to be tested but doesn’t want to dismount or ride through a farmers field like the crazies that do the HELL. The HECK of the North is a 70 kilometer route that will still include many of the amazing “paved” roads used in the Hell of the North but there are no off-road sections\, farmers fields\, or the nasty trench.
